Yes, it's that time of year again - Christmas FM is back and here's where you can hear it

THE CHRISTMAS SONGS are already blasting from the loudspeakers around the nation’s supermarkets and shopping centres.

And while most regular radio stations will hold off until the first of December at least before dusting off Last Christmas and Fairytale of New York, the country’s festive radio HQ, Christmas FM, will go on air this Saturday.

The volunteer-led initiative will play all your favourite Christmas tunes while raising awareness and funds for Make-a-Wish Ireland.

It’s the station’s eighth year, and the service will be available from 7am to 2am every day until St Stephen’s Day.

The station, as usual, has been granted a 30-day temporary sound broadcasting licence from the BAI.

Here’s where you can find it in your area (sadly some areas won’t be able to receive the FM signal. Like the famous department store, it’s only ‘almost nationwide’).

  • Dublin City and County – 94.3FM
  • Cork City – 106.7 FM
  • Galway City – 89.5FM
  • Limerick City/part County- 105.5FM
  • Kildare – 88.1 FM
  • Kilkenny/Wexford/Waterford/Tipperary – 103.8FM
  • Cavan/Meath – 99.4FM
  • Wicklow – 99.5FM
  • Longford – 101.6FM

Check out the station’s website for digital and online listening options.

And for the week that’s in it, we’ll leave you with this…
