GARDAÍ ARE CONTINUING their investigation into the discovery of two bodies in Co Clare yesterday, but are not treating the deaths as suspicious.

The bodies of two women, fully-clothed, were discovered close together at a beach in Miltown Malbay yesterday morning.

An unlocked English-registered car found nearby with a dog inside has been taken to Ennis for a garda technical examination and the bodies have been removed from the scene.

The deaths are now believed to have been an accident and both women are thought to have come from Wales, according to RTÉ Radio One news.
