FRIENDS OF CLODAGH Cogley, one of the Berkeley balcony collapse survivors, are organising a fundraiser to help those affected by the incident.
The concert will take place on Thursday, 23 July in the Academy in Dublin.
A number of acts are already confirmed including Jape, Vann Music, the Dublin Gospel Choir, Mongoose and The Fontaines. Nicky Byrne will MC.
Tickets cost €25 and went on sale at 9am today.
Thomas Kenny, one of the organisers, told us: “Obviously all of our friends were devastated at the news and we wanted to do anything we could to help.
All the proceeds are going towards the surviving students as many of them have been left with life-altering injuries and ones which will be quite expensive to live with.
The tragedy took place last month, killing students Eoghan Culligan, Lorcán Miller, Niccolai Schuster, Eimear Walsh, Olivia Burke and Ashley Donohoe, and injuring seven others.
Clodagh’s friends have also set up a fundraising page, with the goal of raising €10,000.
