Gardaí said the collision took place some time between 10.30pm on Thursday and 12.30pm on Friday on the R445 Dublin Road.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene when he was found at around 12.30pm and his body has since been taken to Naas General Hospital, where a post-mortem examination will take place.
The road remains closed with local diversions in place, a garda spokesperson said.
