Poll: Should there be a ban on buying dogs around Christmas time?
LEADING DOG REHOMING charity Dogs Trust has suspended adoptions until early January, as it says Christmas is the worst time of the year to introduce a puppy to a new home.
The charity was busy this weekend caring for a litter of nine puppies that had been surrendered to it in Dublin, the Irish Independent reported.
Dogs Trust has been running a campaign urging people to think twice before buying a dog this Christmas time, after 756 people contacted the charity within three months of last Christmas to relinquish their dogs.
So, today we’re asking you: Should there be a ban on buying dogs around Christmas time?
