Two men arrested as shotgun and methedrone found in Antrim

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested and a sawn-off shotgun and drugs recovered during a planned search of a house in the Rathenraw area in Antrim.

The seizure resulted from an investigation into the alleged importation and supply of methedrone and money laundering offences.

Working with border force officers, PSNI police recovered 3.5kg of the drug, which has an estimated street value of £70,000 (€81,500).

The men, both aged 29, are currently assisting detectives at Antrim police station.
