Woman in court on drugs charges after Tralee seizure

Gardaí seized cannabis herb estimated to be worth €75,000.

A 26-YEAR-OLD woman has been charged with drugs offences after she was arrested at a house in Kerry where gardaí seized a quantity of cannabis.

Gardaí from the drugs unit in Tralee searched the house in the Cul Doire area of the town at about 7.45 pm last evening and seized the cannabis herb estimated to be worth €75,000.

The woman was detained at Tralee Garda Station before being later charged and then released.

She will appear before Tralee District Court at 10.30 am tomorrow morning.
