TWO MEN have been shot in Finglas. The men were in a white van driving along the River Road, when a car pulled up beside them at 9.10am. A man with a handgun fired several shots and the driver was hit twice while the passenger was hit once. The men fled by foot and. The victims are in a stable condition.

A TEENAGER ARRESTED over the gangland killing of Stephen “Madzer” Byrne on Tuesday, was today released without charge. He was one of two people detained after Byrne was shot in the head and chest on Dublin’s Sheriff St. The other suspect, a man in his 20′s remained in custody.
