Dublin firefighters deliver baby boy in Swords home

Both mother and baby are reported to be doing well.

MEMBERS OF DUBLIN Fire Brigade and the National Ambulance Service delivered a baby boy in Dublin last night.

The baby was delivered at home after a woman in labour called emergency services at around 9.40pm.

A fire engine and ambulance arrived at the house in Brackenstown view, Swords with an advanced paramedic and paramedic on board.

The mother and baby were then taken to the Rotunda hospital, where both are reported to be doing well.
