Five-year-old boy and two adults hospitalised after fire at Dublin apartments

Sixteen people had to spend last night in a hotel as their apartments are now uninhabitable.

A FIVE-YEAR-OLD boy and two adults were taken to hospital after being rescued from a fire in a Dublin apartment complex yesterday evening.

The blaze broke out at Geraldstown Wood in Northwood Santry at around 5:10pm.

Two men and a five-year-old were hospitalised for smoke inhalation.

The boy was taken to Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

The fire engulfed two apartments but six homes were badly affected and are now uninhabitable.

Last night, sixteen people who live in the apartment had to spend the night in a hotel.
