EGYPT’S OPPOSITION HAS told President Mohamed Morsi that he has until tomorrow to resign or else it will step up its campaign of civil disobedience.

The group, known as Tamarod, called for early presidential elections, claiming it had collected more than 22 million signatures to withdraw confidence in the current leader.

Last night, hundreds of thousands of Egyptians took to the streets to demonstrate against the Muslim Brotherhood’s administration.

According to the country’s health ministry, six people were killed in clashes on Sunday and Monday.

Five people were killed when clashes broke out on Sunday evening and another person died overnight from injuries, a ministry official told a private satellite channel.
