Biography

She was elected to South Dublin County Council in 2014 and was elected mayor in June 2015. A fluent Irish speaker, she has worked in the financial services industry and campaigns on tackling a number of issues, including the lack of affordable housing in south Dublin.

I\'m offering an alternative to the old boys\' club politics. We in Sinn Féin are committed to working for a fair recovery.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

My number one priority is investing into public services such as health, education and community resources - across the country.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Our first task is to abolish the water charges. We have costed it and the legislation is ready to go.
