Biography

Elected first to the Dáil for Fine Gael in 1997, he has been a sitting TD since then. He was expelled from Fine Gael in 2013 after he voted against the government on the Protection of Life During Pregnancy Bill. He is now the deputy leader of Renua.

Experience and fresh ideas as a member of Renua Ireland and my commitment to Wicklow and East Carlow.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Make the area more attractive for employment; improving access & incentives for employers in Wicklow/East Carlow in order to create jobs.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

Change current tax systems to a flat tax of 23% with a graduated basic income as a balance to protect vulnerable families and individuals
