Biography

Casey previously contested the presidential election, coming in second place. He unsuccessfully ran in the MEP elections for the Midlands North-West constituency. He is the founder and former chairman of recruitment business Claddagh Resources. He appeared on two series of RTÉ's Dragons' Den. He has a degree in business and poliics.

Why should someone vote for you?

I am a voice for change. The people in Dublin West have had the same old, same old... I will give them the opportunity to register their disappointment with the current politicians.

Q.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

If elected in Dublin West I would love to be the Minister for Housing or Health, because we don\'t have a housing problem so much in Donegal as in Dublin.

Q.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

I would like to be a voice for really helping to put together a pro-business government to help the people of Ireland... I would want to really make sure we have a pro-business coalition tackling the problem of Brexit.
