Biography

Collins has been a TD since first elected in 2007. He is a former accountant and CEO of the Shannon Regional Fisheries Board. He is also a former lecturer at Limerick IT. He has served on the Public Accounts Committee and the Oireachtas Justice and Foreign Affairs Committee.

Why should someone vote for you?

I work hard on a full-time basis to help people, their families and community. My motivation is to make peoples\' lives better. I believe in a fair and equal Ireland for all.

What is your number one priority for your constituency?

Limerick has the worst-performing health service and hospital network due to government inaction and lack of proper resourcing. This is the stand out, top issue in Limerick.

What one thing would you like to do in your first 100 days of the new Dáil if you are elected?

The new government must address the health crisis in Limerick and the Mid-West.
