John Cassin

Constituency: Carlow-Kilkenny

John Cassin has been selected by Sinn Féin as one of the party's two candidates in Carlow Kilkenny. Following on from his successful election to Carlow Town Council in 2009, the 2011 campaign will be Cassin's first attempt to win a seat in Leinster House. He has promised to focus his campaign on issues which help to grow and sustain job creation in his native Carlow.

Cassin is a vocal supporter of efforts to restore Carlow's sugar beet industry.
