Outgoing TD Joe Carey is seeking re-election in the four-seat Clare constituency. After eight years of service on Clare County Council, the 35-year-old was elected to Dáil Eireann for the first time in 2007. Since then, he has been appointed as the party's Spokesperson on Juvenile Justice and also as the Assistant Chief Whip.
