The sole Green Party candidate in Cork North-West, Mark Collins, is something of a political novice. Collins' only previous political experience came in the 2009 local elections when he unsuccessfully ran for a seat on Cork County Council. He is a self-employed food quality and safety consultant by trade.

  • Reform of outdated Family Law System
  • Promotion of Ireland as Europe’s premier eco & food tourism centre
  • Reform of the political structure, including reduction in the numbers of town councillors, county councillors & TDs

 

Did you know?

While studying Food Business in University College Cork, Collins won the Enterprise Ireland Student Enterprise Award (1996).
