Mary Coughlan

Mary Coughlan is one of two Fianna Fáil candidates running in Donegal South-West. The outgoing Tánaiste has served continuously as a deputy for the constituency since her 1987 election to the Dáil at the age of twenty-two. During her time in government, Coughlan has held portfolios as Minister for Social and Family Affairs (2002–04), Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food (2004–08), and most recently, as Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

    Mary,s father Cathal was a true gentleman,, A great worker who had a genuine understanding and love for his constituency… 1 in a million……

    Cant understand how mary is so different… Shes just like an ashtray on a motorbike….

    Its a shame really, both for herself and the people she is supposed to represent…

    A sad end to the Coughlan dynasty….
