Eoin O Broin has been chosen as Sinn Féin's candidate in Dublin Mid-West. The Clondalkin man was unsuccessful in his only previous general election attempt, finishing bottom of the polls in Dun Laoighaire in 2007. O Broin has been active within the Sinn Fein party for over fifteen years including a spell as the party's Director of European Affairs.
