Ciaran Cuffe

The Green Party have selected outgoing deputy Ciaran Cuffe as their general election candidate in Dun Laoighaire. Cuffe represented the South Inner City on Dun Laoighaire Rathdown County Council for twelve years from 1991 until his initial election to Dáil Eireann in 2002. Prior to entering Leinster House, Cuffe worked as a lecturer in urban planning at DIT, Bolton Street. Since 2010, he has been Minister of State with responsibility for Sustainable Transport, Horticulture, Planning and Heritage.
