Frank Feighan

Frank Feighan is one of two outgoing Fine Gael deputies seeking re-election in Roscommon-South Leitrim. The 48-year-old former businessman was elected by the Administrative Panel of Seanad Eireann in 2002 where he served until his election to Dáil Eireann in the last general election campaign. Since June 2010, he has been Fine Gael's Front Bench Spokesperson on Community, Equality and Gaeltacht Affairs.



 

Did you know?

Feighan came under fire in July 2010, shortly after his appointment as Spokesperson for Gaeltacht Affairs, when he admitted that he was unable to speak Irish.
