Nicky Kelly

Constituency: Wicklow

Nicky Kelly will run as an Independent candidate in Wicklow. Kelly is a former member of the Labour Party. He was elected as a Labour councillor in 2004 but resigned from the Party over a selection convention dispute prior to this campaign. Kelly will be contesting his 4th general election.

    Now here’s a hard campaigner, Nicky Kelly is the equivalent to the cat being thrown in amongst the pigeons. I personally am delighted he decided to run again as an Independent, Nicky is a hard worker for the County, he’s out spoken and doesn’t have to answer to anyone. If you are a non party supporter and are prone to vote for an Independent, Nicky would be a great choice. Nicky Kelly missed out on a seat back in 2002 by just 13 votes. I believe he would be a great asset to be involved in a coalition government. I was asked on my face book page “Why Arklow doesn’t have its own TD, so in reply to the Arklow people here is your big chance and vote for Nicky Kelly…
