Councillor Tom Fortune is one of three Labour Party candidates running in Wicklow. Fortune has been formally active in local politics for the last six years since his election to Wicklow County Council in June 2004. He is currently self-employed, working as strategic management advisor and a business/life coach.

I believe Tom fortune would make a genuine TD for the Wicklow- East Carlow area. Tom is a non stop worker for the Garden County. He’s a very approachable person and listens to people who have real concerns for the well being of the county. On his canvasses Tom is there for people to connect with him, he calls to doors himself and is willing to talk to his electorate. All I can say is I’ll be putting Tom Fortune into my top 5 list of candidates to vote for.. I wish him luck in his campaign and hopefully win a seat in the new government..
