EMIRATES AIRLINE IS en route to Ireland in search of new cabin crew staff.
The company, which already employs 232 Irish people, is looking for 4,o00 cabin crew over the next year and is holding four open days in Ireland to help fill the positions.
Not all the jobs will be made available to Irish citizens but the airline says it has a policy to recruit staff from countries where there is a “strong hospitality tradition”.
The UAE’s flag carrier is looking in more than a dozen countries for the 4,000 new members staff.
In Ireland, the cabin crew open days will take place from 9am on:
- October 27 at the Central Hotel on Exchequer Street, Dublin
- October 30 at the Harbour Hotel on New Dock Road, Galway City
- November 2 at the Limerick Strand Hotel in Limerick City
- November 5 at the Gresham Metropole Hotel on MacCurtain Street in Cork City
Applicants must be at least 21-years-old and should bring a CV and photograph with them to the recruitment days.
Emirates is launching its first Dublin to Dubai route in January 2012.
