A MAN IN his 30s was arrested last night following a standoff with armed officers outside a house in Finglas, north Dublin.
The Armed Response Unit was called to the Hampton Woods area where officers could be seen with their weapons drawn.
A video was posted online showing officers pointing handguns and automatic weapons at the house.
Trained garda negotiators were brought in and the man, who had claimed he was armed, gave himself up peacefully.
