SR. PATRICIA WALL, best known as the Flying Nun, took to the heavens yesterday and braved a 200 km/h free-fall skydive from 10,000ft to raise money for the charity Aware.

The 75-year-old, who has battled depression, undertook the skydive challenge and a national campaign to encourage people that there is light at the end of the depression tunnel.

Sr. Wall has so far raised almost €25,000 for Aware, for taking part in the skydive over Galway, but donations are still being accepted.
