PROTESTERS HAVE TODAY been voicing their anger at proposed cuts to Dublin Bus services which they say will affect some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
The protest has been co-ordinated by the Save Our Bus Services campaign which has been set up to highlight the effects of Dublin Bus’ current restructuring of its services which involves the elimination of some routes and re-routing of others.
A protest took place outside the Dublin Bus headquarters on O’Connell Street in Dublin this afternoon. Demonstrations had already taken place in some of the areas affected earlier this month.
Dublin Bus says the changes are not intended to cause hardship and will instead improve and enhance services.
