GARDAÍ HAVE THANKED the public for its assistance after a missing Meath man was found safe and well.

Phelim Doyle left home to go shopping in Dublin city centre yesterday morning but got separated from his wife. Both gardaí and his family said they were concerned for his welfare.

The 58-year-old had last been seen on Ormond Quay, walking towards O’Connell Bridge at around 9.30am. He was subsequently found following an appeal for information.
