Gardaí seize stolen alcohol as part of dissident investigation

Six men were arrested in Louth and Westmeath this morning after two stolen trucks were seized on the M1 near Drogheda.

SIX MEN HAVE been arrested as part of an investigation into the activity of dissident republicans.

RTÉ reports that three men were detained and a quantity of stolen alcohol was seized when two stolen trucks were stopped in the early hours of this morning on the M1 near Drogheda.

Another three men were arrested in Delvin in Co. Westmeath and all six are now being questioned by Gardaí.
