Gardaí investigating two Dublin shootings last night

The shootings occurred in Ballymun and Clondalkin.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN are investigating two separate shooting incidents in Dublin last night.

A young man in his late teens was found with apparent gunshot wounds to the head in Shancastle Park, Clondalkin at 11pm last night.

He was rushed to Connolly Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. The scene has been sealed off and an investigation is underway.

Gardaí in Ballymun are investigating a separate shooting incident at Barnwell Drive in Ballymun, Dublin 11.

The incident took place at about 2.25am this morning.

A number of shots were fired into a house and a man in his late teens was wounded in the abdomen.

He was taken from the scene by ambulance to the Mater Hospital.

Gardaí have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
