SOMETHING BIG’S A-COMING this Friday. Something other than the referendum, we mean.

The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR as we all know and love it, will officially come into force on 25 May, after two years in gestation.

But what does that mean for the man on the street?

We sat down with the Data Protection Commissioner’s head of communications Graham Doyle this afternoon to try and suss out what the biggest data protection legislation in generations entails for Ireland.
