POLICE IN ENGLAND have said that more tests need to be carried out to establish the cause of George Michael’s death.
Results of an initial post-mortem exam, carried out yesterday, were deemed inconclusive.
In a statement today, investigating officers from Thames Valley Police said the singer’s death is being treated as ”unexplained but not suspicious”.
They believe further results will not be available for a number of weeks. A file is being prepared for the local coroner.
The 53-year-old was found dead at his Goring-on-Thames home in Oxfordshire on Christmas Day.
