3 stylish new developments a handy drive from Dublin on the M3 corridor

Commuter-friendly homes from €270,000.

FANCY BEING WITHIN easy access of Dublin city centre while also living in a thriving hub of employment and community? Having a look at new Co Meath developments along the M3 motorway is a good place to start.

Located just minutes from the M3, the thriving towns of Navan and Clonee enjoy fuss-free access to the heart of the capital, as well as being in close proximity to employment hubs Bracetown Business Park, Damastown Industrial Park and Facebook’s new data centre. Navan Business & Technology Park provides employment in multiple sectors including manufacturing, logistics, medical devices and communication, with BT Ireland, Lir Chocolates and Meath County Council among the current businesses located here.

Below are our picks of some of the most exciting new developments along the M3 – all of which are located within an hour’s drive of the city centre and are packed with stylish features. Commuting never sounded so easy.

1. Cois Glaisín, Navan

If contemporary style and convenient location are high on your list of must-haves, the homes at Cois Glaisín are likely to deliver. Located in bustling commuter town Navan, just a few minutes’ walk from the shops at Johnstown Shopping Centre, these houses are also within easy reach of Dublin. Cois Glaisín is convenient to Junction 7 off the M3 motorway which takes you to Blanchardstown in 30 minutes or the city centre in 45 – or you can be at the airport inside 40 minutes.

As well as kitchens and bathrooms already finished to the highest degree, these new two, three and four-bedroom homes include stylish internal joinery and Shaker-style fitted wardrobes. They’re also energy-efficient with triple-glazed windows, an A-rated condensing gas boiler central heating system, and even photovoltaic panels fitted to generate electricity all year round.

These beautiful three and four-bed semi-detached family homes start at €270,000.

2.  Cluain Adain, Navan

Situated just a few minutes’ drive from Navan’s vibrant town centre is Cluain Adain, a brand new development of two, three and four-bedroom homes. The drive time to Dublin city centre from the development is 45 minutes via the M3 thanks to the nearby Junction 9, while jet-setters can be at Dublin Airport in 40 minutes. For those wishing to use public transport, the Navan Express will have you in the capital in an hour, or you can park-and-ride from Dunboyne Train Station.

As well as being an established commuter hub, Navan is also a thriving community in its own right, perfect for growing families wishing to upgrade to a new place. Each home comes A-rated for energy, while you’ll also find stylish design and finishings throughout, with the contemporary fitted kitchens by Gallagher Kitchens a particular highlight. Interested? House-hunters can organise a viewing by appointment for the remaining few four-bed semi-detached and detached properties here, while more two, three and four-bed family homes will be launched later this year.

These family-friendly homes start at €275,000.

If being close to the outdoors is top of your list as you search for your new home, Holsteiner Park will definitely appeal. Holsteiner Park is an exclusive gated development of just 21 five-bedroom homes situated at Williamstown Stud in Clonee, Co Meath, meaning residents will be under 30 minutes drive from Dublin city centre via the M3. Clonee itself straddles the border of Dublin and Meath, and there’s no end of amenities in nearby Blanchardstown, Castleknock and Dunboyne.

Each house at Holsteiner Park sits on almost a third of an acre, on grounds landscaped by Ingrid Swan of IS Design. Lawns are levelled and seeded, with extensive hedging for privacy. Inside homes at Holsteiner Park, you’ll find hand-crafted painted kitchens with bespoke solid wood doors and modern Siemens appliances. For family convenience there’s also a separate mud room with fitted storage and a laundry/utility room.

Prices for these spacious homes start at €875,000
