Man taken to hospital after being stabbed in the neck at Dublin halting site

It is understood two men in the area who were known to each other became involved in an altercation earlier today.

A MAN HAS been taken to hospital after a stabbing incident at a settled halting site in the Kimmage Manor area of Terenure.

Gardaí and an ambulance crew attended the incident at around 12pm today.

Two men became involved in an altercation and one received injuries to his neck with a sharp metal object. He was taken to hospital by ambulance and his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

It is understood that the two men were known to each other.

Gardaí said that no arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
