Man arrested after stabbing at the Hell Fire Club in south Dublin

Three people were assaulted during the incident.

A MAN HAS been arrested following a stabbing incident at the Hell Fire Club in south Dublin yesterday.

Gardaí said that at about 3.45pm yesterday a fight broke out between three men and a woman at the popular hill-walking destination.

During the course of the fight, one man received stab wounds and a woman and a man were assaulted.

All three were aged in their late teens and were taken to Tallaght Hospital where they were treated for their injuries.

They were released last night.

Following the stabbing, the scene was preserved for a technical examination and a search of the area was conducted by the DMR South Divisional search team.

The man, aged in his late-20s, was arrested in the Kilakee area last night and is currently being detained at Tallaght Garda station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
