Trains in and out of Heuston resume after truck hits bridge

The truck hit the bridge at Sarsfield Road in Inchicore early this evening.

RAIL PASSENGERS HAVE been disrupted this evening after a truck hit a bridge.

The truck collided with the bridge on Sarsfield Road in Inchicore at around 5.30pm and the bridge was being checked to ensure its safety.

The crash meant that no trains left or arrived at Heuston for around an hour.

Iarnród Éireann says that passenger safety is key apologised for the inconvenience.
