GETTING INTO THE property market can be a daunting experience. Here we try and make it a bit easier – and bring you four of the best properties on the market around the country this week.

Under €250,000

Dublin city, The Quays – €245,000

There seems to be an unwritten rule that affordable central-Dublin apartments are limited to a single bedroom. This property, located next to the banks of the Liffey, comes with two bedrooms and a fairly generously proportioned living space. Convenient to all city-centre amenities – this property might appeal to young professionals.

Under €500,000

Kildare, Maynooth - €386,000

As the old Native-American adage goes – ‘property gets a lot cheaper once you go outside of the M50′. This four-bedroom house in Kildare is located close to to the M4 motorway – meaning that while removed from the capital, central Dublin is less than an hour away. Wexford, Tagoat – €695,000

This four-bedroom Tudor-style home has already had €100,000 knocked off its initial asking price. Potential buyers may also be enticed by its proximity to the local beach – which is only a short drive away.

Galway, Barna – €750,000

The appeal of this property in Galway is its proximity to Galway City and the high specification it has been built to.
