TONIGHT, THE IFTA Gala Television Awards took place in Dublin.

Red Rock, Catastrophe, Mrs. Brown’s Boys, Connected and 50 Ways To Kill Your Mammy were among the television shows to pick up gongs at the ceremony. (Red Rock won TV Show of the Year and Best Soap).

(You can check out the full list of winners here.)

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Jedward wore ‘Jepic’ sparkly suits and their hair was taller than ever

Let’s be real: their hair puts Ian Madigan’s to shame.

2. Joe Duffy may have seen a ghost on a red carpet.
