BRITISH PRIME Minister David Cameron is holding crisis meetings today over the escalating unrest in London, which spread last night to Bristol, Birmingham and Liverpool.

Buildings and cars were burned by groups of rioters, shop windows were smashed and stores looted.

Police are calling for people to identify anyone involved in the rioting and community groups are organising clean-up operations in a number of areas this morning.
