THE ABOVE GRAPHS show how more and more Irish people are using social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, but fewer of us are using Bebo.
Polling company Ipsos MRBI’s Social Networking Quarterly survey of a national representative sample of adults aged 15 and over found that there has been an increase in Facebook and Twitter users while LinkedIn has remained the same.
More people are using photo sites like Instagram and Pinterest but use of Bebo is falling, though some of you may be surprised to hear that 7 per cent of Irish people are still using the recently sold social networking site.
Over a third of the country are not on social networks but this figure fell from 39 per cent to 37 per cent in the latest figures which are to the end of May 2013.
