DO YOU HAVE any plans at 7.29pm this evening? No? Well, get yourself outside and look up at the stars.

According to Astronomy Ireland, the International Space Station (ISS), currently home to six astronauts, will passing by.

The ISS can be seen in Irish skies over the next two days:

  • Wednesday February 18 at 7:29pm
  • Thursday February 19 at 6:36pm

If you want to see what they are getting up to 260 miles above us right now though, you can check it out here.

The space station orbits the Earth every 90 minutes, getting around our planet about 16 times per day.

Times can vary, says Astronomy Ireland, who ask people to check their website on each date for any changes to these times as the orbit of ISS can be boosted by it’s rockets at any time.
