YOU’VE FINISHED COLLEGE, you’re out in the working world, and are now trying to get a handle on this whole “being an adult” thing.

Part of that is learning how to make your home that little bit more comfortable to live in.

We previously looked at what you need when flying the nest - the essentials like a cosy blanket, extension cables, and a corkscrew – but even if you are still renting you starting gathering together bits and pieces that will make your apartment or house feel more like home.

Those important items are worth saving up for and, if treated with a bit of care, will last you a long time.
