JEREMY CLARKSON IS receiving treatment for pneumonia in a Spanish hospital.

The TV presenter and columnist yesterday posted an image on Instagram showing a tube connected to his arm, but didn’t say what was wrong with him.

A spokesperson for The Grand Tour, on which Clarkson is a presenter, has confirmed to Sky News that Clarkson, 57, was admitted to hospital on Friday morning during a family holiday in Majorca and is “being treated for pneumonia”.

Clarkson’s contract with the BBC, where he co-presented popular car show Top Gear with Richard Hammond and James May, was not renewed in 2015 after it emerged he punched a producer during a “fracas”. Clarkson had worked at the BBC for 27 years.

The trio have since gone on to present The Grand Tour, another big-budget motoring show, on Amazon.
