A €500,000 PRIZE won in a lottery draw on Friday 13 November has gone unclaimed.

The deadline for claiming the money was yesterday evening, and a spokesperson for the National Lottery informed TheJournal.ie that nobody had come forward by the 5.30pm cutoff point.

This was despite a publicity push in Limerick, where the ticket was sold.

It was purchased by one unlucky individual on the Wednesday before the draw as part of a €3 Quick Pick at the Supervalu in the Castletroy Shopping Centre.

This follows another prize of €1 million going begging earlier in the week, when despite appeals, nobody came forward to claim the prize for a ticket sold at the Bus Stop Kiosk in Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.

Ticketholders have 90 days from when the draw is made to come forward and collect their prize.

Last week a group of friends who purchased their ticket in Carlow came forward to claim a €66 million Euromillions jackpot that they split with another winner from France.

The prize was the fourth biggest ever win in Ireland.
