THAT Love/Hate apartment block is for sale for a cool €3.5m
JOHN BOY POWER’S swish penthouse apartment – the scene of many a deal and edge-of-your-seat moment in Love/Hate Season 1 – is up for sale.
In fact, the entire apartment block in which the nefarious Dublin criminal (RIP) lived is on the market – but you’d want to have a decent wage to go buy the whole thing – the guide price is a cool €3.5m.
Power’s penthouse apartment – where he told Nidge he wouldn’t be going to his wedding, and where he cooked up some of his schemes – is located in the Granary, a block of 14 apartments at Distillery Lofts, Dublin 9.
The impressive penthouse has been left vacant to accommodate viewings and at 3,423 sq. ft it offers panoramic views of Croke Park, the city centre and Holy Cross College.
The owner of the block can expect to earn about €220,200 per year by letting out the 14 units.

The apartment block – which also has one, two and three-bedroom apartments – is on the market via Savills, on the instruction of Declan Taite, Receiver, of Duff & Phelps.
The building was originally in use as a whiskey distillery, and the current tenants of The Granary will not be affected by the sale.
