Man dies after motorcycle and car collide in Wexford

A 38-YEAR-OLD man has died after his motorcycle collided with a car in Co Wexford at about 11pm last night.

The incident happened on the L4036 near Campile.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was removed to University Hospital Waterford for a post-mortem. The local coroner has been notified.

The driver of the car, a 25-year-old man, was uninjured.

The road is currently closed pending an examination by garda forensic collision investigators this morning and local diversions are in place.
