A MAN IN HIS 30S WHO was arrested yesterday in connection with the suspicious death of a man in Enniscorthy, Co Wexford, was released today without charge.

The body of a man named locally as 37-year-old Patrick ‘Paddy’ Connors was found in an apartment at Carrigtur, Springvalley, Enniscorthy, yesterday morning after a man contacted gardaí.

Gardaí are preparing a file for the DPP and are not searching for anyone else in connection with the death.

His brother Jim Connors told RTÉ’s Six One News yesterday that he was “shocked” over the death and their father Gerry Connors said he just couldn’t believe it.

Connors had just bought a communion dress as a surprise for his eight-year-old daughter, according to the Irish Independent, and his family and friends described him as a kind, loving and caring man.
