Man threatened shop staff with a knife in broad daylight in Armagh

Two men were arrested a short time later.

A MAN THREATENED staff with a knife in a shop in Armagh yesterday afternoon.

Shortly after 3:15pm the man entered the premises in the Killylea Road and demanded money from the till.

He left empty handed accompanied by another man.

A short time later police arrested two men aged 27 and 28.

They’re currently being held in custody and are assisting police with their enquiries.

Detectives in Armagh are appealing for information in relation to the incident.
