2 large, 7 medium, 1 small or

4 large, 4 medium, 2 small or

6 large, 1 medium, 3 small. ]]>

You buy 10 teas for €10 so the medium are €1 each so you get 10 of these for €10

So all other answer are wrong like so many large and small and so on ]]>

1.2X + Y + 0.6Z = 10

This is bloody stupid however, as there is only one equation and three unknowns, rendering it degenerate. Assuming cups of tea are positive valued integers (ie: I can’t buy -7.43 teas or 5.43i teas) then it’s simply a boring number plugged exercise;

ie: You could buy 5 large and 4 medium OR you could buy 1 Large, 7 medium, 3 small etc….

At this point I got lazy, as it’s an ill-conditioned question and a bad example of an algebraic equation for that very reason!
